OMG 9 DAYS LEFT!!!

Holy moly, 9 days left until the BIG DAY and I will finally be MRS. GOMEZ!!! I am beyond excited, and spending every free minute doing something wedding related... lol. I think I'm done with everything other than the cake aprons, but I know something will come up at the last minute!!! Kerri flies in next Wednesday, I can't wait to see her, yayyy!! Wednesday getting the nails and feet done w/some of my girliessss, then Thursday bachelorette party and Friday rehearsal dinner and AHHHHH then it's here!!! So let's hope I have everything done by Tuesday!!! Yay.
Anyways I want to thank all of my girls for everything they've done to help me prepare for the biggest event of my life thus far!!! My girls, you mean everything to me and I couldn't have done this without you. I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shoes... check! Makeup... check! Trial run for hair... check! Hair accessories... check! Blue garter... check! Nail appointments... check! Rehearsal dinner booked... check! Cake... check! Favors... check!!!

SO much got done this past week!!! Few more things to do, then it'll be smoooooth sailing :)

40 Days Left!

Wowzers! 40 days left, and still so much to do! I'm getting excited, but nervous too... not for the wedding, but to fit into my dress! Let's cross our fingers... anyways! I'm going to Kerri's wedding (best friends since freshman year!) in Massachusetts, leaving Wednesday night and coming back Monday night! I can't wait to be there with her on her special day... my first wedding as a bridesmaid too!!! Sweet. Work has been busy and stressful, but that's a good thing right? (not the stress part, just the busyness!)
I still have yet to find shoes I like... and decide on how I want to do my hair and makeup... I got all my flower girl stuff, I found the cutest headbands for them to wear! Yay... still have yet to finalize the menu, and figure out MY flower situation too!!! Anyways... until next time...

64 Days... Holy Moly!!!

Wow... 64 days til I'm Mrs. Gomez! So exciting, stressful, nervewrecking (is that the word?), happy, anxious... ahhh!!! Who knew planning a wedding was this stressful. Oh wait, anyone who's gotten married already! LoL... anyways. Still gotta buy my shoes... find out how I'm gonna do my hair... experiment with makeup... I think I'm gonna go to Sephora and have them do a total makeover on me, and then I'll just buy what they used... hmmm what else. Oh yeah schedule my hair and nails appointment, order the flowers, finish the centerpieces, hand out the invitations... get the food situation figured out, finish buying the guys and girls gifts, get Tibo's tux... AHHH!!! Anyways. Good thing my girls are here to help me... yay. Well... my bridal shower is apparently this Sunday, I feel special, I've never had a party thrown in my honor before, at least, not by anyone else... hehe... awe. Well... until next time... xoxo!

99 Days Left...

Wowzers... so I get my "theknot" update and as of today, we have only 99 days left until the big day!! Kerri was right, once you hit double digits instead of triple, it's almost freak out time!!! SO much left to do... we mailed out some of the invites today, to family far away (wow I rhymed haha)... I got the bridesmaid dresses in, and they're pretty cute but we definitely need to spice them up with some red ribbon and glitter! This weekend I'm gonna start making the glasses for the wedding party, and Tibo and I are gonna make our final decision on the rehearsal dinner... oh yeah and hopefully tonight or Sunday I'll find my wedding shoes!!! So exciting... I've dreamed of this day since I was like 4 years old!!! Eek!!! My sister and some of my girls have been busy planning my bachelorette party and I can't wait to see what they have in mind, they ARE a crazy bunch... LoL!!! Got new flower girl dresses that are absolutely amazing thanks to Jamie... I can't wait to see those girls in them! I have also been thinking about making my own flowers (except my own)... I think it will be super fun, even if it's a bit challenging! Anyways... so in 2 weeks my LITTLE sister will be 21, so we're taking her out for that... something else to look forward to!!! Can't wait... our fam is coming up from AZ for that weekend so yeah... lots of stuff!!!

116 Days Left!!!

Holy moly!!! 116 days until I am Mrs. Carrie Gomez!!! I can't wait.
So... I ordered the bridesmaid dresses... got the flower girl dresses... ordered part of the centerpieces... got lots of ideas for favors... and I still feel like there's soooo much to do!!!
We started looking at places for our honeymoon, I think I found it!!! It's an all-inclusive place in Cancun, Mexico. Looks pretty amazing!!!
I started the HCG Diet yesterday, I need to lose a few pounds so I can fit into my damn wedding dress again... oops. Guess I just like to eat a lot more than I should!!! So yesterday and today I am eating TONS of greasy, fatty, sugary foods... then starting tomorrow no more!! EEK!!! It is gonna be hard but Jazzi and Lis are doing it at the same time, so we'll have each other for support.
Our kitchen table is still covered with wedding invitations... thinking of that, I gotta work on those some more!!!!

WOW... Time Flies.

Guess that old saying is true, "time flies when you're having fun!" It feels like just last week Tibo proposed to me and the wedding hype began. But now we're only 4 1/2 months away!! I'm going to pick up my dress this Sunday with some of my girls... I can't wait!!! I just hope it still fits. I've ordered the bridesmaid and flower girl gifts... and have my idea on what I want for the centerpieces... but I still feel like I have so much to do with so little time. Thank goodness Jazzi is here, living with me for a while... I've started assembling the invitations, they are so cute! I'll probably mail them out in late August, at least to the people living far away. We also started looking at rings... yay. Lastly... this past Sunday I organized a pin-up photoshoot for me and some of my bridesmaids, with my wedding photographer... not all could make it sadly, but most of them were able to come. Pictures will be posted as soon as I get them!!!
I can't wait to be Mrs. Gomez!!!

My Bridesmaids...

Monica... I met her because she's Tibo's best friend, and now we're great friends as well! She's an amazing, gorgeous chica and I love her to death!!


Kerri... my longest friend... we met freshman year and became inseparable... she makes me cry laughing every time we're together, which I wish was more often than it is. I miss you Keh!


Jamie... my first friend when I moved to Mesquite, and we've gotten to be so close! She's like a sister to me, and her kids are my love-loves!! I love this chica so much! Oh and we make one heck of a beer pong team.


Araceli... my shortest friend, yet it seems like we've known each other forever! Kinda like twins at most times. She's my partner in crime and sometimes I don't know what I'd do without her. We love our "water..." hehe, hey sexy.


Danie'l... or D... too weird to call you Danie'l anymore. You didn't exactly like me before you met me, but then we got to be such good friends... we've shared endless nights just sitting there talking, and even more having a blast. She's a very strong person and I admire her for it. Danie'l... do you wuv me?


Liset... well, we've gone through our ups and downs like everyone else, but now you're one of the closest people to me. You've taught me a lot, especially bad words in Spanish haha. You're sweet and sexy and I love u, no matter what.


Nan... or, sometimes, Don-Juanette... hehe well we've had quite our share of times together!You make me feel good (oh did that sound dirty or what) and I love you. You've been there for me, and I've been there for you.


Sarah... yup, my fellow SEC.. we're snotty and we know it! haha... anyways you've always been there to listen when I need someone, and I couldn't thank you more. Girl time is always fun time with you! Oh and now that we got you to drink some water... lock it up Roberts!


Korrin... well, one thing for sure, is you're the only one out of all my girls that I've gone to their wedding... YET KERRI! Even though I hardly knew you then. You are so much fun, especially when you're drunk and take your clothes off for me... oops, should I have said that? JK! Love you girlie.

Jasmine... my absolutely amazing, gorgeous, fabulous, sexy, loving sister. Growing up we didn't get too close, because we lived so far away, but now she lives with us so it's great. She's an amazing dancer just like her sister (haha) and she can cook like no other. I love you Jasmine... my fellow fountain head :-)

LexiPoo. This girl is absolutely hilarious, gorgeous, and she can always turn a frown upside down!!! Her kids are amazing as well, and I can't wait to be Eliyas' Godmama!!!!


and last but certainly not least, Challo... who I met through Tibo (duh, it's his sister) is such a fun person. She's always been so nice to me, even after we accidentally made her quite drunk and sicky... she's gonna be my sister-in-law!!! Cynthia, her daughter is the most adorable funny girl... my soon to be niece!

The way plans are going...

Hi everyone! :-)
So we've gone back and forth with lots of different ideas, but with the huge family Tibo has, and all our friends and stuff... we've decided not to do a big formal dinner at the CasaBlanca like it was originally going to be... so this is the plan as of right now.
1pm we will be married at the Catholic Church in Bunkerville... from there we'll go with Bethany to take our professional pictures (yay), then over to the Senior Center from around 3:30-6ish... it'll kinda be an open house, for anyone who wants to go eat... we'll have a variety of stuff to eat and drink but NO ALCOHOL, as it is a government owned facility. But anyways that's fine, that's what water bottles are for right? :-) So then finally from 7pm-11pm we'll have the traditional reception at the CasaBlanca showroom... cake, dancing, bouquet and garter toss... and stuff like that. Yay!
