Road Trippin it up!

Well I know nobody reads this, but that's okay. I like to type, even if it's to myself. So we have a family reunion coming up in Massachusetts this August, so it sparked an idea--we were going to do a LONG road trip, with some friends, there and back, but now we're thinking that might be TOO far for our first time. So instead, we're going to make a list of places we want to go, things we want to do and see, and do that instead. We'll take an entire week, and do something different each day. My top interests are Rosarita or Ensenada Mexico, Big Sur California (thanks to Emily Richmond, who inspired me for this entire thing!), Yosemite, Yellowstone, White Water Rafting and/or Kayaking, Big Bear Lake, Redwood Forest, Santa Barbara... yeah I know I know, there's SO much out there to do, and we might as well take advantage now that we don't have kids!!! Traveling is one of my passions, and the natural landforms amaze me. I love the beaches and could spend all day just laying there, listening to the waves. So there we have it. No school this summer, money will be better spent at vacationing. I did, however, get an A in my creative writing class... that made me quite happy. Well, until next time!

OMG 9 DAYS LEFT!!!

Holy moly, 9 days left until the BIG DAY and I will finally be MRS. GOMEZ!!! I am beyond excited, and spending every free minute doing something wedding related... lol. I think I'm done with everything other than the cake aprons, but I know something will come up at the last minute!!! Kerri flies in next Wednesday, I can't wait to see her, yayyy!! Wednesday getting the nails and feet done w/some of my girliessss, then Thursday bachelorette party and Friday rehearsal dinner and AHHHHH then it's here!!! So let's hope I have everything done by Tuesday!!! Yay.
Anyways I want to thank all of my girls for everything they've done to help me prepare for the biggest event of my life thus far!!! My girls, you mean everything to me and I couldn't have done this without you. I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shoes... check! Makeup... check! Trial run for hair... check! Hair accessories... check! Blue garter... check! Nail appointments... check! Rehearsal dinner booked... check! Cake... check! Favors... check!!!

SO much got done this past week!!! Few more things to do, then it'll be smoooooth sailing :)

40 Days Left!

Wowzers! 40 days left, and still so much to do! I'm getting excited, but nervous too... not for the wedding, but to fit into my dress! Let's cross our fingers... anyways! I'm going to Kerri's wedding (best friends since freshman year!) in Massachusetts, leaving Wednesday night and coming back Monday night! I can't wait to be there with her on her special day... my first wedding as a bridesmaid too!!! Sweet. Work has been busy and stressful, but that's a good thing right? (not the stress part, just the busyness!)
I still have yet to find shoes I like... and decide on how I want to do my hair and makeup... I got all my flower girl stuff, I found the cutest headbands for them to wear! Yay... still have yet to finalize the menu, and figure out MY flower situation too!!! Anyways... until next time...

64 Days... Holy Moly!!!

Wow... 64 days til I'm Mrs. Gomez! So exciting, stressful, nervewrecking (is that the word?), happy, anxious... ahhh!!! Who knew planning a wedding was this stressful. Oh wait, anyone who's gotten married already! LoL... anyways. Still gotta buy my shoes... find out how I'm gonna do my hair... experiment with makeup... I think I'm gonna go to Sephora and have them do a total makeover on me, and then I'll just buy what they used... hmmm what else. Oh yeah schedule my hair and nails appointment, order the flowers, finish the centerpieces, hand out the invitations... get the food situation figured out, finish buying the guys and girls gifts, get Tibo's tux... AHHH!!! Anyways. Good thing my girls are here to help me... yay. Well... my bridal shower is apparently this Sunday, I feel special, I've never had a party thrown in my honor before, at least, not by anyone else... hehe... awe. Well... until next time... xoxo!
